You have several options when it comes to Grand Canyon hotels and lodging at the National Park itself. There are a few actual National Park lodges available at the South and North Rims themselves, but there are more hotels and motels located in the town of Tusayan, which is approximately six miles from the entrance of the Grand Canyon. Reservations at the National Park lodges and even hotels in Tusayan typically need to be booked a year in advance. If your heart's set on staying inside the Grand Canyon's boundaries, read more about the National Park lodges at the South Rim including El Tovar Hotel, Bright Angel Lodge, Maswik Lodge, Kachina Lodge, Thunderbird Lodge, Yavapai Lodge on top of the South Rim, the Grand Canyon Lodge at the North Rim, and Phantom Ranch's famous cabins inside the gorge along the Colorado River.
